NATIONAL TRUST OF SOUTH AUSTRALIA - Moonta Branch, will again be running the fabulous Moonta Christmas Lights Road Tram Tours in 2020! Bookings Essential. 

This year they will be running their Christmas Lights tours from 11th to 24th December inclusive.
Tours leave nightly at 9 pm from the Visitor Information Outlet, Moonta Railway Station Blanche Terrace and run for a little over 1 hour.

Prices:​ $5.00 per person (Adult/Child)​
Children $0 if sitting on your lap

Bookings open at 9 am on Thursday 1st November and can be made in person or by phone at the Information Outlet but must be paid for at the time to secure your booking. Seats are limited.

DRAKES SUPERMARKETS COPPER COAST NEW YEARS EVE CELEBRATIONS

The Drakes Supermarkets Copper Coast New Years Eve Celebrations will be held on the Wallaroo foreshore from 7pm, New Years Eve December 31st 2021
Fireworks will be held at 9.30 pm and midnight, family friendly, alcohol free event featuring sideshow amusements, food stalls and other fun activities.

Kernewek Lowender

Every two years since, the Kernewek Lowender Copper Coast Cornish Festival has been held in the towns of Moonta, Wallaroo and Kadina.

Kernewek Lowender’ means ‘Cornish happiness’ in the Cornish language.

Established in 1973, the Kernewek Lowender has grown to become the world's largest Cornish festival. Nowhere else can you experience authentic Cornish custom and fare such as Maypole and Furry Dancing, the big Cornish Pasty bake-off, the gathering of the Bards and the Dressing of the Graves events; some 15,000 Cornish pasties will again be consumed, swilled down with Swanky and Cousin Jenny Ginger Pop.

The vast display provides an excellent one-stop opportunity to view and compare a comprehensive range of products designed for effective, efficient farming and rural practices.
